Outreach Program

The International Business Center at Northern Kentucky University serves the 15 county Greater Cincinnati Tri-State area by providing assistance to small and medium-size businesses seeking to expand globally. Conveniently located near the NKU campus, the IBC Outreach Office offers a number of services specially designed to assist entrepreneurs and small businesses to increase their capacity to compete the global marketplace. These services include:

· Consulting and information services for companies "new to export".

· Assistance with development of international business plans.

· International market research.

· Student internship program.

· Referrals and "matchmaker" program.

As a part of its mission, the International Business Center partners with the Northern Kentucky International Trade Association, the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, and the Kentucky Small Business Development Center to support entrepreneurship and growth of small business in Kentucky.

Our local partner, the
U.S. Department of Commerce-U.S. Commercial Service assists U.S. companies in finding new international business partners worldwide, through their network of colleagues located at U.S. Embassies and Consulates in over 80 countries worldwide. The Commercial Service also assists international companies connect to U.S. suppliers of products and services.
